Elevated Roofing Generated 8x More Google Reviews in 18 Days
Elevated Roofing was already making a personal effort to request reviews. Erika, a member of the team, sent handwritten thank-you letters to customers after completed projects and included a request for a Google review.
The opportunity was not simply to ask more often. It was to make leaving a review faster and easier for the customer while reducing manual follow-up for the roofing team. So Roofing REV Marketing built an automated email and SMS review-request system with direct Google review links and timed follow-ups.
From June 15 through July 2, 2026, Elevated Roofing generated 16 new Google reviews, an 8x increase over the previous 18-day period. Every review received during the measurement period was 5 stars.

The Challenge
Elevated Roofing was not ignoring review generation.
Erika personally wrote and mailed thank-you letters to customers after completed jobs and used those letters to ask for reviews.
That approach added a thoughtful personal touch, but it also created more steps for both the company and the customer.
Those extra steps can create unnecessary friction, particularly for customers who are less comfortable using QR codes or moving between apps on a phone.
The goal was to preserve the personal customer experience while making the review itself easier to complete.

The Solution
Roofing REV built a review-request workflow using SMS and email with direct links to the appropriate Google review profile. After a completed job, customers could tap the link directly from their phone or email and begin writing their review.
If they had not taken action, the system sent a follow-up request three days later. The workflow was designed to:
The Results
This was during the 18-day measurement period. The most significant change was review volume.
The previous 18-day period produced just 2 Google reviews. After the automated system launched, Elevated Roofing received 16 reviews in the next 18 days, an 8x increase.
The year-over-year comparison showed a similar improvement. From June 15 through July 2, 2025, the company received 5 reviews. During the same dates in 2026, it received 16, or 3.2x as many reviews. All 16 new reviews were 5 stars.
The automation did not create the positive customer experiences behind those ratings. It made it easier for satisfied customers to share those experiences by giving them a direct path to the correct Google review page and following up when necessary.
The result is a review-generation process that is easier for customers and requires less manual follow-up from the roofing team.
